Don’t Miss that Shot: Quick Tip

Morning Gate

Sometimes opportunities for great images come at unlikely times. All of a sudden you might realize that the events happening around you could be captured. It is at those times that you need to be able grab your camera and record the images that you just imagined. Because these moments come randomly, I always try to have my gear ready. This means that I always have charged batteries and a memory card with space. I also leave my most used lens attached because I am most comfortable with it. I also keep track of my camera so I know where to find it. I always put it in the same place in my living room so that it is easily accessible. By having all my stuff together and set up the same way every time, I don't have to think about my gear. That way I know that I am always prepared for the next opportunity.
